Envision - Erika's Bridal
January feels like ages ago - it really was a different lifetime compared to where we are now! With all of this extra time on my hands, I wanted to share the gallery of images taken at my 2020 runway kickoff event. Erika's Bridal Couture teamed up with the crew at Anagen 11 and we were able to bring a magical evening of wedded bliss to Lawrence University for the night.
The event took place at the Warch Campus Center with a sweeping view of the Fox River. I had actually attended a wedding at this same venue in the past, so those memories really upped the romance factor of the evening for me. I was lucky enough to be showcasing four different designer gowns - each one so beautifully unique! I find it fascinating to see how the styles have evolved since I shopped for my own gown five years ago.
I was so impressed by the Anagen 11 team. Their teamwork on each model was actually inspiring. Every individual that had a hand in getting me runway ready - and trust me, it took a village - was so incredibly talented! It never ceases to amaze me what professionals can do with my short hair. These structured waves are enough to make any gal's vintage dreams come true. My makeup was perfectly balanced with a flawless airbrush finish, natural tones, and long, dramatic lashes for days. This look was a show stopper for sure!
Not only are they talented hair and makeup artists, but the team at Anagen 11 also captures stunning images and videos of your event. One of my photos taken by Casey Hurley was featured in the Spring issue of Edible Door - I've never seen my photo on a full page in print before! The entire team was lighthearted, communicative while we shot, and all around just fun to be around! They made the process of documenting the day a breeze and a blast, and now I have all of these gorgeous images to remember the day by. Check them out for yourself! There are quite a few...
