Illuminate - Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique
January was jam packed with bridal bliss for me! I wrapped up the month with an incredible runway show for Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique! They host the "Illuminate Bridal Fashion Show" annually, this year with proceeds benefiting Hope House Milwaukee. The show was at the Pritzlaff - a gorgeous space downtown that I used to live near and have coveted ever since. The building is multipurpose, so in addition to event space, it is also a residence and retail space - including Miss Ruby!
This team was on another level. The gals at Miss Ruby are a cut above the rest and I've never felt more comfortable at a runway show. I had the challenge of walking in six gowns throughout the show and each change was seamless and elevating. Those ladies are the queens of motivation and had my self esteem higher than it's ever been. Any bride would be lucky to have this team help them choose the dress of their dreams! They even kicked off the event with a champagne toast and a beautifully written message that literally had me holding back tears. Queens.
Like I said, I got to walk in six gowns that night. As crazy as it can get, it was absolutely thrilling to make it all happen. Lottie Lillian was behind the lens, capturing all of the evening's gorgeous details. Her photographs are stunners! The first gown was a Mikaella by Paloma Blanca (style #2255). I absolutely loved the plunging neckline and side details on it! And that full layered skirt is perfect for partying on the dance floor.
My second gown was a strapless number with romantic and flirty embroidery all over. The Arwen from Ti Adora by Allison Webb would be such a lovely gown for an ethereal spring bride. Dreamy details for the dreamiest day!
The third gown I showcased was a Miss Ruby exclusive called Erin Marie. Its form fitting shape made me feel so sultry, and the delicate beading brought a luxe touch that would enhance any wedding day. Good news, brides - it is dancing/walking approved. I can attest!
If comfort is key on your list, this fourth dress is the one for you. The layered skirt is genuine silk, so it feels like you're wearing air! So light and lovely. Jenny Yoo, you knocked it out of the park with your Valentina design. I could've twirled around the dance floor all night in it!
Gown number five was another form fitting, plunging, sultry stunner! The mermaid cut of this Enzoani Marianna gown gives it a modern and elegant touch, while the beading and embroidery give a touch of vintage glam. It really covers all of the bases.
My final walk showcased a classy number that seemed to be a crowd favorite - and you can see why! This Enzoani (BT20-11) brings your class, elegance, and wow-factor - and I mean brings it! I love the clean lines and that neckline is so swoon-worthy. You'll be smitten with the floral appliques, but then you see that beautiful sheer back and you won't know what hit you. Just try not to stare. Try.
You can find gorgeous gowns like these, and so much more, at Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique. If you're shopping for bridal gowns or bridesmaid dresses in the future, I promise you'll feel like a queen in the hands of these ladies!
